There is no "right" or "wrong" way to kiss, but you
should be aware of a few things that will help in your kissing experience
Lips should be moist and well taken care of. Chapped or sunburned lips can be
a turn off. To keep lips healthy use lip balm but do not use right before
initiating a kiss, for it needs time to absorb, or else you might be giving your
partner a slimy feeling.
Good breath is another key element. Brush your teeth and also make sure to
brush tour tongue. That helps to get rid of bacteria that cause bad breath.
Breath mints will also help to keep your breath fresh and tingly.
When originating a kiss, slowly move towards your partner and kiss their
lips. Do not rush into kissing passionately, as that is sometimes a big turn
off. The kiss will evolve.
Eyes. It is OK to approach with your eyes open, but once the kiss is
initiated, many people prefer to keep their eyes closed and indulge in the kiss.
Ask your partner what they like best about kissing and try to do that. Many
people prefer different things.
Breathe through your nose, or else you might end up sucking the air out of
your partner causing them to gag.
Avoid excessive saliva. Although you are going to share some saliva, too much
can be repulsive. If you feel saliva building up swallow it.
